The real is overvalued considering that all in Brazil is smoke and mirrors. WCOM, DYN and ELN are far better deals. At least, they've blown up already.

Hi Steve. Real estate in Brazil is unbelievably cheap. That is sometimes a pretty good indicator. That is, if you are sure you actually own the asset.

Probably the kiss of death but i reestablished a position in UBB at these levels. I just dont believe this bank is going out of business- Of course I said the same thing about a few other companies in the telecom area- arrrrgh!

Got a nice surprise with my 5000 shares of TNE. It paid $1877.50 less $287.50 dividend. I take it that the the $287.50 is the foreign tax. Sure wish this puppy would come back. <g>
