Bill,

I had a car salesman call me and tell me how good it would feel to drive the new xyz car, and I told him how good it felt every single month to have no car payments. He didn't have much of a rebuttal to that. Amazing to me why so many are hooked into the debt cycle and never pay one off. I was really surprised when my building janitor showed up a few months ago having traded in his old Chevy van for a fully loaded pickup. Must work down at the docks on the weekends, I guess.

I guess he got 5 year 0% loan. For some reason these terms decrease people's ability to think. They don't care what is the amount of the principal loan as long as its 0% interest for 60 month.
I recently bought a car. I looked at many new and used. What I bought was used Infiniti at rock bottom price. Sure I paid cash. To me having no monthly payments is a pleasure.

I still can't find a good deal on a nice used car that can beat out a new Hyundai Sonata. This has been my quest, I did come close to purchasing a used Infiniti SUV but the two oil leaks kinda turned me off to the idea.
