Somehow, I asked a serious question, and got a cliche in return. We have settled that they have free- speech rights in our democracy. I am asking whether their contentedness with vile opinions should make us indifferent? Or should we opposed them in the marketplace of ideas precisely because they are false and immoral? If all opinions are equal, and we are not supposed to impose our views, aren't we hamstrung? And if we have the liberty to oppose vile opinions in the marketplace of ideas, what about when they are acted upon? Should we have to stand by while men act as butchers, if we have the capacity to stop them?
