There may be a little more work to do in some of the big name companies and of course many small firms are going to turn out the lights. INTC looks a few bucks too expensive. Darling MSFT could definitely have an air pocket to the 30's, and DELL to the high teens. I have that old bloated pig CSCO targeted as a buy at 7.50 after a base is formed (the MACD and AD numbers look poor still).

But I keep being drawn to the high quality orphans such as the SYNA I bought today at 4.31. Notice it closed at 3.98 on 72,500 shares, trading about 20,000 after mine. That's not distribution, that's a non functioning market probably some more margin selling hitting all the bids on the book. Successful companies like this one (mkt cap 92m- 74m cash= 18M for it's enterprise/technology (100m depressed rev), will do reverse takeovers and go private if this keeps up. I expect a whole slew of new smaller vulture capitalists (some tied to management) to conduct this activity. I think you have to grin and bear it on these, and go ahead and pull the trigger, and do it again if it trades down more.

<Not to be too literal, but It suggests that we will hit bottom in about another 70 days of trading>

yea, maybe this "thump" idea I keep having isn't that farfetched.
