We had a 2200pt swing in the tick today....incredible I think that, paradoxically, as investors do slowly give up on the market, it will become more and more of a traders' gig, increasing swings and volatility..

I remember lurking on the thread on which Donald Sew was posting his Class calls -he had one of the big moves down (not sure, maybe THE big drop in August) nailed in his predictions, but for some technical reason missed out on it in his own trading, while everyone around him was benefiting from his research.. I remember a suggestion made to send him royalties.. ;-)
