Pearly, I have a 1990 Landcruiser and it has always been a great truck, however working on it is next to impossible. This coming from someone who enjoys working on engines and such. Parts cost 3x what they should and any mechanic you bring it to scratches their head when you bring it in, LOL. The wife has a 99 Dodge Durango, dang good truck considering at one time I swore off American vehicles myself. I'll probably buy another Durango soon for myself.

For those who care, the #1 SUV in the world IMHO is the Acura MDX. You can't even find them on the Acura car lots. Test drive one, order your options and color, and then wait about 3-5 months for delivery. I did and am glad I waited. What a driving experience. It was Motor Trend's #1 SUV of the year in 2001 when first released and they stated that nothing even came close. I had 2 Ford Expeditions and they both were a big POS compared to the MDX.
