For your information, I'm providing a great service to my country by taking a short position in these markets, but you're too stupid to realize that.. well, one day you'll thank me for it, and that's okay with me... without short sellers, there would be no liquidity in these markets, and then where would you be when you want to take a long position? Huh? You'd be stuck!!! Without short sellers, you couldn't buy the market, but you're way too stupid to realize this.. clearly, you have no clue about the nature of these markets... so, you should thank me, you traitor!!!

Ummm, if you saw something you wanted to buy cheaper down the street at Wal-Mart or Target, would you buy it? Would you be a traitor to Safeway or Albertson's or K-Mart if you didn't buy it at full price?

Your argument is extremely weak, and I think you'd be surprised by who shorts stocks in any stock market! Do you not think there is not one military person shorting a stock in the stock market? Would you consider them traitors also? If you sell a stock are you a traitor?

Why not go buy all the stock your cash reserves can and be a good patriot like Custer and get slaughtered? Are you holding full positions, or did you sell ANYthing?

It takes two ponies to drive this buggy.

Sell the U.S. dollar.
Foreigners have been fleeing the U.S. equity market. They have been reducing their U.S. based assets. The market is still extremely overpriced. The housing bubble topped a few months ago when Greenspan denied the existence of any such bubble.
The perception is that return on U.S. assets will be less than stellar in the future. Accounting fraud and financial engineering is still rampant and the scams are still underwritten by the same old scamkeepers. The Govt. actively
works on destroying market confidence, appointment of Harry Potter to head Officer Friendly the SEC garbage is a good example of that.

Sell the U.S. dollar.

Mr. Bush's unelected cabal has no trust or confidence among businessmen and traders. As you can see the market heads south as soon as that mess appears on TV. The Wahington mob can't even produce a budget for its criminally bankrupt mess.
Flight to hard assets such as gold will bankrupt owners of the Govt. such as JP-Morgan is short order.

Sell the U.S. dollar.
