VERY Off Topic:

Speaking of retirement spots, at least for part of each year...

How bout Malta, or the Balearic Islands off Spain? Few more good years in the market would take care of a nice roomy cottage with an ample garden. Have not been to either myself. But looks like they'd be worth a visit.

Wayne has made favorable mention of Turkey. He's not only been there, more than once, but he's quite well informed about it.

Re: Ordinary vacation travel, don't know where the heck we're going this Spring.

Thought Cancun was a slam dunk. And it may still get the nod. But now, for the first time, much to my surprise, the kids are actually expressing some interest in going to Europe.

And it would makes sense on the calendar. Spring Break comes late, next year. Mid-April for their school.

My wife and I made a number of European trips. But, would be a big first time exploration for my 2 feisty sons. Hope they catch the fever about going. Would be great fun.
