Again, there is no 'statement' to prove false. What IS it that is 'false'?

As a side note, who is to say the the Buddhists god is not the same as the Christians god with different interpretations?

What you're really saying is that not all of followers of these religions can be right.

Well if one of them is correct, then the other 90% are not.

Nope, I think you are missing a point here mishedlo. btw I was bought up a Catholic too.

It's like all these religions are like native born Australians wondering about Britain (who ruled the empire). Are all the people there criminals? As all the British people they have met are "poms". Various differences of opinion occur.

The fact is each religion might have some aspect of the truth in it. Considered all together, what common element in each might lead to some enlightened ideas.

Each religion grew up within the circumstances of the people living in that local environment. No big deal if there are differences.

The worst thing to do is put on the "scientific" stupid hat, and then act like it's all logical from the local point of view -g-

Three men went into the jungle on different occasions and saw a chameleon. "A chameleon is red," said the first man. "No a chameleon is green," said the second man. "Nonsense, a chameleon is brown," said the third man. Those who disagree about the nature of God are like these three men. --Hindu Teaching Story

Fact is, chameleon is yellow - it's my catholic upbringing I guess -.

"So saying it is all BS is quite likely to be 80-90% correct." See above. Try again.

Well, so... should we now all agree, chameleon has no colour? Or should we start from scratch and doubt the existence of chameleons - to be honest I have yet to see one ... gasp, you cant even trust National Geographic - ? Or, wth, what's the big deal about chameleons anyhow (aka sceptics ALSO have a relationship with / opinion about chameleons, even if they deny their existence / dont give a damn about them)?
