CB, BCherry168 et al - I will spell it out for you: 1) The Economist had an article about the world's reactions to the US stance on Afghanistan, mentioning the US/CIA supported and trained Bin Laden and his group in the days when they were fighting the Soviets. 2) The Economist is a weekly journal. Going through its articles for the past six months is quite some work that will take time. 3) Some of us work and are paid for their time. 4) Make the bet and I will find the article. 5) If you are not willing to make a bet, move on to other issues. Deal with it. 6) Accusing me of lying (or, "blowing smoke up", as BCherry168 sees it) will not change any of the above.
