You bet I've noticed the M&A hit Gus, but I simply think EMC is attractive to someone out there and getting more so every day. You have told me so endlessly through very detailed posts on this thread yourself Gus <ggg>.. I have zero skin in the game here anyway as the last time I touched the stock was for that four day trade I wrote to you about right at the beginning of 2002... I also understand that most large tech mergers don't work out, but that doesn't seem to prevent firms from trying over and over and over again. I'm simply speculating, and it's probably a longshot, but then I've been a bear for a couple years now that is slowly turning into a bull.. As for multiples, it seems to me that some are being compressed a bit MORE than others <ggg>... The real negative here is that if EMC does continue to crater in share price and does get taken over, even with a premium many shareholders will be taking some serious losses.... Best regards, John
