Thanks for the link. Much of it was the same ole blah blah - i.e. not a lot of new insight. The presentation of the deflation case got me to thinking. As you know this being the end of the first week of the month, the FIG came out on Friday. It showed it's continuing ramp. In fact this indicator's behavior is a principal support of my "stagflation" scenario. OTOH the deflation case can certainly be made. To borrow an analogy from TA, it's as though the inflation vs. deflation argument is in a triangle pattern with an apex 'round Easter time. It'll be interesting to watch the triangle resolve. lurqer
