Secretary Rumsfeld said the received unsolicited offers of help from some Nato members. That's all he said about it.

No, I won't "prove it". I always have when you asked me. I may not understand the implications of policy decisions, but I remember some of what I read.

While reaffirming a decision on using force against Iraq had not been made, Zalmay Khalilzad, a senior aide to President Bush, said, "Should force be required, U.S. and coalition forces will liberate the Iraqi people from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein."
