cap'n.. We share the passion for maps and geography. Thursday night I had a long conversation with a buddy of mine that flies for FedEx. Mostly in Asia these days. He is still fascinated with watching the world pass below as he works. Last week he took his plane from Paris to Taiwan, taking off from Paris at sunrise and having crystal clear air virtually all the way across Europe, The Stans, China, Mongolia...etc. Sounds amazing out there. Soaring is something I have always wanted to do...feels like the time is coming up to do it. ps...my ski area got snow last night....oh boy. scoot
