Finally I understand you Len. Since every Israeli kid will one day serve as a soldier, he is "not a civilian" (your words), thus fair game for the PA iron flechettes, you know this (only) patent of theirs, with the belt and all.

And only the PA go to paradise.

Almost one hundred percent of Israelis serve in the military--active and reserve. All reservists serve a month per year. This makes the entire Israeli population members of the oppressive IDF. In addition, the Israeli government deliberately uses public buses to transport their soldiers to occupied territories. The majority of suicide bombers have attacked public buses where these soldiers are being transported. The fact that some civiliasn are in these official military transports is the fault of the Sharon government. This does not, of course, address the few bombs which were directed at civilian hangouts.

The radical Islamic suicide bombers are no more criminal and murderous than the Israeli government. The IDF has murdered 4 times more civlians than the suicide bombers. The statistics expose the reality that the Israeli government is equal or worst in their brutality. In addition, we must not forget that it is Israel that illegally occupies Palestinian territory and it is Israel that continues to build illegal settlements in occupied territories, and that it is Israel that continues to defy over 40 UN resolutions. If Iraq can be forced to obey UN resolutions, why not Israel?
