My plan?

I was referring to the Israeli plan.

The last I heard was that there were two teams, and each team was unaware of the other's existence. While training in the mountains just before they were to embark on their mission, the two teams chanced upon one another. As one of the teams was in presumably Iraqi outfit or non-Israeli outfit, a firefight broke out in which they mutually annihilated one another. So much for the teams of commandos that were supposed to do Saddam in.

If the above is true, then the Israelis failed to finish their mission.

No, it's not true that the Israelis always finished what they started. For example, they failed miserably at the last Camp David even when they had the help of Clinton.

By the way, a lot has been said about the Germans always mounting counterattacks in World War II. Again that is not fiction.
