It's probably about time.

So now Mark Zandi of Economy.com is getting increasingly worried about the darkening picture.

I remember how regularly upbeat he was about the recovery upcoming for the second half of this year, all during this past Winter.

Then there's Ed Yardeni, who still gets quoted as a sage, after banging the drum about the Y2K disaster louder than anyone. Why he didn't tuck his tail and slink off is beyond me.

At least these guys are now willing to revise their predictions after these things they're predicting have already happened and proven them wrong once again. Maybe I can call yesterday's playoff game scores after they're over too !

Hell, three quarters of the people here who post random articles from Richebacher or Dr. Stool have continually called it better than these Eclownomists.
