The explanations are the most entertaining part of the joke. I got a good laugh out of this one: "Excellent!! I tried it twice. Got me both times...even when I thought I was being deliberately* obtuse."* And this one: "I just discovered your website and I am ecstatic. I am going to be spending a lot of time there. The subjects of quantum mechanics, parallel universes, Einstein, Hawking, Dyson etc., make my brain tingle." Humph. I'll bet he went nearly brain dead when Johnny Carson used to do Carnac the Magnificant. And lastly: "Interesting experiment. Based on some mathematical formula no doubt, unfortunately I'm not a mathematician. " Nor is he a brain surgeon, I'll venture.
