This article needs to be repeated and repeated.

Pat is a good conservative and says what he thinks, and I think most Republicans respsect him for that.

But he is terribly wrong on this issue.

No, you are terribly wrong, and people like you need to wake up before its too late. This charade is a farce. And you all are sending the wrong message to the White House.

Buchanan gets it right down to the idiocy of A. Sharon and the mess he is making in the Palestinian region. Sharon needs to have his butt jacked!

I can't believe the chaos that has been created by both Bush and Sharon. Its unbelievable to me!

This certainly is not true. He is asserting, through the Bush Doctrine, that such a right exists -- not tremendously different in concept from the well-established Monroe Doctrine (i.e., establishing a more-or-less arbitrary line in the sand, or in the ocean, as it were).

There is no Bush doctrine......that's a figment of your imagination.

However, there can be no pre-emption with respect to Iraq. Iraq is the aggressor nation, and thus anything we do at this point is defensive in nature, NOT pre-emptive.

The confusion on this issue is rampant, even amongst Republicans and supporters of Bush. IT ISN'T PRE-EMPTION IF YOU ARE DOING IT IN RESPONSE TO AN EXISTING THREAT. Duh.

You are terribly confused and your brain has run amok. The only people buying your theory are the ones who also are confused. Its the blind leading the blind. And you have way too much faith in Cheney and Rumsfield. They are very dangerous men.
