<<So you think attacks and an uprising of the French Arab Street would move France to be more anti-American?>>

I can't possibly imagine France being more anti-American than it already is. What I meant was that Middle Eastern terrorist groups a la Al-Queda would gladly target French interests in the hope of dragging la France into a confrontation with Muslims countries which they hope, would win them recruits for an Islamic revolution. Given the recent social unrests in France (synagoge burning etc) it would appear that the French Muslim minority would be more prone to react to France going to war against Muslim countries than any other Muslim minority in other European countries.

That being said, I also believe that once the ass-kicking starts in Iraq, the French will stop their tiresome posturing and anti-American rhetoric. What other choice do they have?

P.S. BBC TV yes: big anti-war demonstration by Muslims (and pro-Muslim) groups in England.
