In my opinion, the murders in Maryland and Washington D.C. will never be solved to the satisfaction of the strict system of American justice, which requires guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Based on the evidence that I have seen, I believe very strongly, that these murders were accomplished by a team of urban snipers sent here to kill, on the direct orders of Saddam Hussein. Although his plan has now been exposed, I believe that every hour that passes without an Iraq resolution in Congress places Americans in extreme danger, because Saddam may believe that he may still influence the outcome of the debate.

In my opinion, these murders also serve to illustrate the extremely difficult and intricate diplomatic path that his Arab and Persian neighbors have been forced to navigate in their attempt to deal with the “Butcher of Baghdad”. They have been forced down a diplomatic path that they may not have chosen, due to the need to protect their own citizens from this evil.

The President is a strict enforcer of the law, and in the absence of absolute and concrete evidence, he has decided to be extremely fair and lenient by offering Saddam Hussein a final opportunity to comply with the law. IMO, the “Texas Sharif” is perhaps excessively fair and merciful.

If Saddam Hussein fails to comply with the law, any action in Iraq is not against the Iraqi military, or the Iraqi people, it is only against Saddam Hussein and those that would protect his evil actions.

There will be justice, it is undeniable and unavoidable.
