Gross was on cnnFN i believe. he said that something like 20% of the purchase was paper due within 10 days (still seems strange though).

JHP:

Touche on the GSL. (g)

That said, I have to admit that I convert a decent percentage of my short profits into GSL every week or so. The company is sitting on beaucoup cash, the drills start churning in a couple of weeks, Uribe (the new Columbian pres.) is making excellent changes down there, the U.S. is pouring resources in, and a couple of the big miners have a serious interest in doing a deal. And the gold deposit is one of the largest in the Western henispere. At current stock prices, the market is saying that Columbia is a disaster that is geting worse. The facts (especially Farc defection numbers) suggest the opposite. I'm patient.

Best, Earlie
