Wasn't it Johnson or Kennedy who got 58000 Americans slaughtered in Vietnam?

Let me answer that for you. Yes. Johnson. Worst president this country ever had.

It is no coincidence that in my lifetime every Democrat president has been a total flop militariliy.

Johnson gave us Vietnam.

Carter gave us the gutting of the CIA and the Iranian Hostage Crisis, during which the United States looked weak and foolish, because the nitwit wimp Carter didn't stand up and defend our nation.

Clinton gave us the current dilemma; he was handed a well-contained situation in Iraq and over eight years managed to allow it to get totally out of control, by focusing on the blowjobs he was getting instead of the important foreign policy & military issues a president SHOULD be focusing on.

So, yes, there does appear to be a pattern here...

While Kennedy upped the involvement in Vietnam, Johnson was the one who really escalated the role of the US. Sort of interesting that many of the vets that went to Congress are Democrats, isn't it?
