Nuclear power has been regulated out of competitiveness. A revision of regulation will make it competitive again.

Don't know what the report is based upon but I have come to the conclusion that we must abandon fossil fuels and move to a hydrogen based economy. That will necessitate huge deployment of solar and nuclear generating facilities. My guess is that under such a scenario that as an economy we would experience significant economies of scale in the delivery of nuclear plants. Breeder technology must also be a part of the development. When we are off of fossil fuel we get 2 benefits a cleaner environment and we starve the militant muslim states of the income necessary to make war.
