What a difference a year makes.

A year ago this week, the launch of the airstrikes against Afghanistan came during the NFL Sunday pregame shows. They were covered by all the networks and the news was greeted in NFL stadiums with loud cheers of approval.

The market was also in the early stages of its first post 9/11 recovery. This one feels a lot different, both in public attitude, media attitude, and probable market reaction.
