Guess I was faked out on that Fed meeting.

Just finished reading Barron's. Outlook=more selling to come, although there appears to be a market for stocks that trade below book value. Hardly any market at all for telco-related issues.
And there is not an equity mutual fund out there that has made any significant money for 3 years, and most for 5 years. So if real estate doesn't crash it will be the first time in recorded history that it hasn't in this scenario.

Small cap, large cap, growth, value, all have remarkably close 5-year track records of near zero. Just amazing.

Heard a radio-talk show host who said Bush & the Boyz don't know what to do about the economy. I keep reading on this thread about how busy the stores are in other parts of the country, but man, it's dead here.

If it isn't Wal-Mart, it has closed or cut back hours. Price of gasoline has slipped a bit to $1.29.

Just don't know what to do other than stay in cash.
