Back in 1993 Harry Dent wrote a book called, "The Great Boom Ahead". In that book he predicted that the Dow would reach a certain level by 2007. People thought it absurd that one would believe that the Dow would reach "8500" by 2007. Tells you how much investor's expectations have changed.

Then, in 1999, Dent wrote another book. By this time he had the "new economy" bug. He predicted then a possible DOW of 36,000 by 2008. Funny how most folks more readily accepted that figure over his previous prediction.

If one could take one self back to 1993 he probably would have been very happy anticipate a DOW at 7400 in 2002.

Kendall, the Abby Effect says 3 trading days after she speaks, the market begins to tank. Which means late Wednesday/Thursday. Today was just a mild dip to finish off the short term trend. We could dip a little lower manana, to get a channel breach, but it's time to be long for a coupla days.
