Jacq, the numbers…
Yes, I finally called Unisolar to clear my contradictory 'interpretations' up and thanks for the prodding.

The answer: Company is planning up to 30 production workers ,fewer than this at lower outputs, to run the plant per shift, for a total of up to 90 for round-the-clock operations. In addition, marketing/sales/administrative force is being substantially expanded to sell the increased output.

I needed to call to get this breakdown/shift & whether it included m/s/a personnel since the reporter didn’t have a breakdown. Furthermore my doubts on this low production crew number grew, especially post-CC/10K.

Count 90 production workers total at the new 30MW plant for both cell production and automated module assembly versus the ~200 workers at Unisolar de Mexico plant under the Canon/Unisolar 5MW scheme just for module assembly. This looks to be an improved recipe ready for full oven-proofing.

Regards,

Al
