Bush's staff said that his speech would not break any new ground but was aimed at explaining his position to the American people. I think that was an accurate assessment. I thought it was good but did not break any new ground.

I think they should think about Powerpoint presentations with photos. Maybe some photos of gassed Kurds, photos of the massive building complexes on Saddam's "Presidential palace" grounds, stuff like that.
