An incredible "fear factor" has been playing through the markets for most of this year. It will likely continue, then fade when no one notices it anymore.

I personally don't think much of "sentiment indicators", or, for that matter, technical analysis applied to the total market or major indices. But the biggest myth being pumped by today's bears is that there must be "capitulation" in order for a bull market to start.

These guys have ALWAYS missed the turns-EVERY TIME. Some of them have managed, however, to come along two years afterward with a personal historical revision and sell it to the unsuspecting, as well as the apathetic.

I view them with apathy, whether they're "hot" or "forgot".

Maybe one of you could show them how to roll those charts up REAL tight...

jt has left the house

They locked me up and stole the key. <g>

My Badgers lost to the Nittany Lions... Licking my wounds.

Nasty mercury retrograde is now over and the market bottomed the day after (yesterday). Into the new moon no less. <g>

Now comes the REAL counter-trend ramp. I didn't bother to show up for all those other multiple fake counter-trend implosions in the last month.

Best Regards, J.T.
