no. ha!
i had not seen that.

but it's not the place for bush whacking.
it's a place to escape from america for a while.

Way down here you need a reason to move
Feel a fool running your stateside games
Lose your load, leave your mind behind, Baby James

Oh, Mexico
It sounds so simple I just got to go
The sun's so hot I forgot to go home
Guess I'll have to go now

"Americano" got the sleepy eye
But his body's still shaking like a live wire
Sleepy "Señorita" with the eyes on fire

Oh, Mexico
It sounds so sweet with the sun sinking low
Moon's so bright like to light up the night
Make everything all right

Baby's hungry and the money's all gone
The folks back home don't want to talk on the phone
She gets a long letter, sends back a postcard; times are hard

Oh, down in Mexico
I never really been so I don't really know
Oh, Mexico
I guess I'll have to go

Oh, Mexico
I never really been but I'd sure like to go
Oh, Mexico
I guess I'll have to go now

Ann-T MC,

I dig the music that Polvie posted.

I'm assuming that was DPS.

What I liked about it was the musical part of it.
Very cool.

If there was one thing to pick on it would be that sometimes
there was something about the words that kept getting in the way.

It was the "Let's get it started, let's finish it off" part that didn't fit right.

Not actually the words.
The voice.

He didn't sound hard enough at times.

I didn't feel threatened.

I didn't feel like this guy could kick my ass or shoot a bullet through me.

He sounded like a nice guy trying to be somewhat hard.
Gimme some emotion.
All great leads do.

He's gotta make me feel like "Where is my wallet and the nearest exit."

The music in the back ground was very cool and well produced. I dug the record scratching, too.
The music created a mood. It got inside my head.
If the singer had caused me to look for the lock button on my car door, it would have been perfect.

The music was very tight and polished.

Mind you that I'm out of touch with the music seen.
I'm still stuck in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.
Anything since Y2K is something that I've not listed to much. Especially if it is Hip Hop. Except for an occasional Eminim song if passing by a radio with it on. (That dude actually has some funny and creative lyrics.)

I love the website.

I went further and checked out the website of the person that created it. That dude has some serious talent. I really dig his drawings, 3D stuff, and the animations are top notch. As good as or better than the stuff coming from Pixar and Disney. It looks like he actually designs stuff for PlayStation or Sega or something.

Looking at his site gives me a glimpse of what we are headed for in terms of entertainment, games, and animation.

One other note...
On DPS's site I felt intimated by having to download a zip file rather than a simple MP3 file. Since MP3's are compressed already, I assume that they are packaging some other stuff along with the music. It makes me afraid that I could be picking up a computer virus or whatever if I download it.

Then again I'm a nerdy older guy and not a typical teenage fan.

BTW, what is the SOC board and why should we check it?

You must stop speaking in these secret codes.
