Thanks in advance for help regarding a hardware question. I have a Compaq Presario 1255 Notebook. The A drive (floppy) has stopped working due to an apparent mechanical problem (diskettes won't lock in when inserted). I have replaced these drives on desktops but have never been inside a laptop. Is changing the A drive any more difficult and are parts available. Thanks for any insight or advice that is provided.

I recently upgraded from Win98 to XP. Everything seems to be working OK except my "Scheduled Tasks". I have about 3-4 or these that I like to run between 6 and 8 PM so the results are available without my having to sit and run the programs.

Any ideas about how to re-activate these guys?
