You totally missed my point ('s).

- As long as there are fossil fuels cheaply accessible, it will be the choice fuel for energy or hydrogen, and that should be for over 200 years. Consumers don't want to spend more for energy, people will drive miles to buy cheaper gas.
- People making statements that maybe they'll figure out a way to reduce the amount of energy to split the water molecule don't know what they're talking about, it's a given value.
- Articles saying there is "promise in....." , have forgotten the '70's when there was promise that California would depend on solar cells and wind generators (which by the way were huge corporate welfare scams in support of the greens), now less than 1% of CA's energy is produced in such fashion. The program was a total flop.

I'm just trying to bring a touch of reality to the dreamers.

No where did I support corporate welfare, just as I don't support long term people welfare. You'll have to show me where I said such a thing as I am a huge supporter of free markets.
