When Saddam is eventually ousted and the Iraq sanctions are lifted, oil could drop to $6/barrel and push Alaska's economy off a cliff. But some of us would enjoy a little more elbow room at the fishing hole. Indeed we have a saying here: "Happiness is a Texan headed south with an Okie under each arm!". <g>

Meanwhile reality is starting to bite, as noted by today's headline:
