KT et al, has Barron's been telling the truth yet? I kinda take summers off and get interested again in October -g- I have been keeping my ears open and many non-players are "getting it". We've seen a few waves down as different levels of investors got it, but I still feel the dump-everything, protect-your-cash-from-bad-bank-loans (real estate), and stock-up-the-pantry stage WILL happen based on what passing hikers and transient barflies have been talking about. The little guy is finally getting pissed, regardless of what the XAU says. But I'm also getting the feeling they are caring much less about index-based-investing -g-. You think we're near a bottom or we going for the BK? regards, Tom
