Tech stocks...

Barrons about a week ago listed the following as having cash almost equal to their share price. Comverse Tech, Research in Motion, Applied Micro Circuits, Ascential Software, Apple, Sun, Siebel, Tellabs, BMC Software, Nivdia, Yahoo, and JDS Uniphase.

If that's not a warning sign, I don't know what is.
Ford has always struck me as kind of like Sears: They make money not by selling things, but by financing them.
Awlso, you mentioned GS, which I think is a no-brainer short, given their valuation and the outlook for investment banking.
Was their IPO a sign of a top? You betcha.
