Have you considered the implications of pay increases/better health benefits (no premium/copay health insurance) in the face of a potential deflationary scenario? IMO, unions have their place, but in some cases they just become another beast of burden on the back of workers backs. You end up with overpaid mafia like leadership paying off political leadership, and playing hardball with people/communities lives. ala the steel industry. BWDIK?
