The face of the threat has changed. Our enemies are not limited to nation states with organized standing armies, etc....The Cold War mentiality will no longer protect us. And Bush is right...it is suicidal to wait while a threat gathers as we did pre-9/11. We need to act proactively. Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan.... As we go down the list....those in power in those countries must change or face extinction....
