the former Iraqi territory known as Kuwait.

Kuwait was never an Iraqi territory. It was a British colony.

Why did Kennedy and Bush fight in WWII? Why did Teddy R. fight in the Spanish American War?

Anyway the Gulf War forces were volunteer, 100%. Whatever point you make about the rich not fighting is moot as the poor didn't have to volunteer nor did the ones who lived among the rich or aspired to be rich.

Saddam may have know what HE was going to do but he didn't know what the US was going to do. Too bad for everyone....but at least let's keep the blame where it belongs on him....still.....and until he lives up to peace accords he is on the bubble....and 10 years is enough.
