Just heard a second options trader, this from Pacific Coast exchange, re-iterate what Chicago option trader said.
This fellow said he was seeing just too much "straddling", i gather this simply means option players themselves simply do not know what is going to happen next. We have a "coin flip" trend for the very near term trend :) max
