I believe all the correct answers were "no". Well he has supported terrorism. Your right that he might not have slaughtered his own people. His dad did, and I'm sure he would under the right circumstances but I have not heard of any slaughter since he came to power. Nevertheless, Bashar Assad is a third world thug not anywhere near as dangerous as Hussein. I agree that he is less dangerous. He is not making as much of an effort to get WMD, and he rules a smaller country that is further away from Kuwait and the main Saudi oil fields (and closer to Israel which he has so far been wise enough not to strongly provoke).
