Rydex is quoting dollars not shares, my question was about the relationship of IOU's in dollars to Dollars available in MM accounts that would be used to support the IOUS. My thinking is that this number can go higher yet,that the shorts dont see this the same way as they see debt is a bigger problem much akin to complacency, because of the factor of time. Perhaps their thinking that as the dollar values of individual stocks erode, so their debt to "potential equity ratio" actually improves, unless and until the situation of declining values, reverses trend, and the element of Time Plus Supply, can be properly forecasted, so covering can occur into available supply.
