Augie, we left Earthlink DSL as it was constantly going in and out of service. Covad is the provider. Switched to ATT cable and it's much faster and never goes out, plus it's cheaper by 10 bucks mos. Good luck Chris

Gees Augie i don't feel so bad now at getting along with my ye olde 56modem:) I ONLY have one option for boardband, and that is DTV-DSL, i don't hear anything good about it. Get a Mac??????? I don't think he means a burger. But actually, i who know ZERO about Macs, do they handle BroadBand better????? Max

OT-to Augie-very OT---regards those buying my trophy property(their trophy now,my trophy gone;but my retirement locked in place). The lady had her "Pepe" Bison Frise bouncing happily about by itself outside our house so my wife quietly said; "We have lost pets here." The lady says "To what?" response, "Take your pick; Coyotes/Fishers/Lynx/Bobcats or an occasional Bald Eagle". The lady was out the door rushing to her "Pepe" like lightening; i HOPE she never forgets the message that she received, we do not want "Pepe" to be eaten!
