I've had both and my 16 was converted to rock and roll, a grey area in the law. First time I ran off a clip I knew everyone within 2 miles heard it.

The 16s were designed as wounders and not killers. Kill one and you got him, wound him and it takes two more to save him. The original 16 had a barrel twist that overstabilized the bullet causing it to tumble and wasn't all that accurate. At one time they thought about using two smaller bullets stacked so one would go straight and the other veer off 17 degrees.
