Jorj, Makes sense to me. The second chart of yours also makes it appear that we could drop to the low 700's before we get a bounce at all.

Btw, the Nikkei looks to be getting hit hard again.

Jorj- You could very well be right regarding effect of 9/11 sell-off on timing of subsequent market bottoms/tops. My not overly informed feeling about time projections involving e-waves or otherwise, is that they may be much more vulnerable to unexpected real-world events than TA based on other, price-related indicators and patterns. One factor is, simply, that they attempt to see much further into the future.

I could be wrong. In any case, it is certainly reasonable to expect that a major event like 9/11 would throw things off by forcing a large fluctuation more or less regardless of previous market movement.

Also note that in September 2001 time actually stopped for a week (market-wise); that has got to reek havoc with any time projections right there..
