Well said, quebubo! It sure as heck does! And for that matter, what imports will we have from anyplace in the world if Al-Q or ANY other terrorist organization pulls off any type of major attack? And folks shouldn't forget about exports as well......

How much imports will we have from China if Al Qaeda pulls off a major biological attack?

China is indeed benefiting from US market access in a big way -- China has sustained a growth rate double that of the US for 20 years and will grow by 7% plus this year as well. My complaint is not that the rest of the world does not recognize the importance of the US -- the rest of the world does acknowledge the importance of the US. The problem with the US is that it does not recognize the importance of the rest of the world except in a manner that is becoming increasingly arrogant. An isolated US is a US that is destined to become weaker -- is that what you want?
