They tried, but then I was killing the hillside much more than the targets.

Actually, two guys got promoted at the end of basic that had the highest live fire scores and both were lefties. Me and a New Yorker.

He had never fired a weapon before, and I grew up in Texas hunting wabbits and blue quail and Dove. At the beginning of basic, they said the best shots would be those that never touched a weapon. I messed up their averages a little.
