Yes, 'fool me once'.

Their commitment to real accounting reform is a mile wide... and an inch deep.

It's all for PR purposes... not for the public good... or to promote strong and honest markets.

This will hurt in the long-run... like Japan failing to face up to it's bad load problem, and lance the boil to encourage healing and regrowth, they paper-over the problem and condemn us to the greater danger of long-term lack of confidence in the markets.

What fools these politicians be... attached at the hips to their campaign contributors....
