I will be happy to give my view on those articles.

However, it is 7 PM and I still need to decide on about 50 stocks. I printed your two articles and will read them if and when I make it home tonight :) Comments, hopefully tomorrow...

LindyBill - Re: Bat Yeor's article

I read this article last night as you have asked and, frankly, found it rather sentimental and biased. See excerpts below:

sick from envy; sick from the frustration of having failed to achieve an absolute, pathological domination; sick from a schizophrenic lust for power...

Europe's pathological obsession with the Arab-Palestinian conflict...

The sudden collapse of the World Trade Center's twin towers, the recent threat of an American boycott of what was perceived as an antisemitic Europe, President Bush's ironic criticism of Europe's moral haughtiness, and especially the rise of extreme right parties, brought responsible politicians to their senses.

They had been blinded by a Palestinian fantasy ("Jenin-grad"); by racist, genocidal accusations; massive media disinformation arousing hatred on their radios and televisions against small, vulnerable Jewish communities, tracked, aggressed, criminalized, and terrorized ?

etc etc.....

You have asked my comments on this, but it is hardly the kind of article on which I can comment - This is a highly emotional, personal viewpoint. What can I say? It is the author's opinion...
