That chart shows the sp500 drop in 87. I think the drop was somewhere on the order of 20% in a single day, the worst ever. That amount of drop is approx 1457 points on the dow. That would give us dow 5829.
All time high for dow is 11,723.00. Half of that is 5861. Why not? The sp500 has halved its all time high. So has the Nasdaq, yeah we wish it was only that bad. The dow will get there, its not a question of if, but when. Do we have some kind of sucker run before or not?
